We’re in the final hour of the countdown and what better than to show highlights from the biggest win of the season. The Cardinals defeated the Eagles 32-25 to win their first NFC Championship game and go to the Super Bowl.
I can only hope 2009 brings nearly as much joy as that game did. [...]

As previously referenced the Cards made the 1998 playoffs and actually won a game as they beat the Cowboys. They may have been throttled by Minnesota in the 2nd round but they still beat Dallas (who hasn’t won a playoff game since 1996…LOL):
Let’s hope the follow up act to 2008 is better than that [...]

You absolutely cannot get enough tributes to Kurt Warner. NFL Network put together his Top 10 career moments and each and every one is as great as the next:

I don’t think there has been near enough love for Anquan Boldin during this countdown and I won’t have myself associated with those who don’t appreciate Q. An added bonus on this video is the guy who put it up begins it by attempting to call Anquan Boldin “Superman” but leaves off the “n” [...]

Larry Fitzgerald scored two touchdowns in SB43 – this was the second. As you’ll note “The Time that Shall Not be Named” is remaining on the clock. As a bonus this is in Italian:

After the Cardinals slipped by the Falcons in the first round of the playoffs they still had their share of detractors as they headed down to Carolina. They hadn’t exactly been gangbusters either on the road, against good teams, or on the East Coast. They fell behind the Panthers 7-0 but after that?
You’ve [...]

The Cards have not exactly had a run of great quarterbacks since they moved to Arizona in 1988. In fact besides Kurt Warner (and Jake for a couple years) it’s been a cavalcade of losers for about 20 years. Seeing them all in one place like this is mildly depressing but also hilarious:
Who [...]

Punters need love too (hey it’s 5AM) and the Cardinals punter happens to be a certified bad ass who played Aussie Rules Football professionally back in Australia.
I’m sure you’ll be seeing lots of Aussie Rules Football highlights on here.

Newsflash : Larry Fitzgerald is good at football and has made a few nice catches here and there. NFL Network compiled his best catches of the 2008 season here (note that #7 is actually from the 2007 49ers game…nice work NFL Network):
Larry Fitzgerald is pretty good.

Larry Fitzgerald wasn’t the first Cardinals receiver to light up the Eagles. The 2001 Cardinals may have gone just 7-9 but Jake Plummer led them to a last minute Week 3 win over the future NFC East Champion Eagles as he found MarTay Jenkins with just seconds remaining.
I guess Jenkins wasn’t EXACTLY Larry Fitzgerald [...]
